Hello

I still love my job after 40 years and my passion lies with trying to understand what makes each and every person I see ‘tick’. My forte is problem solving.

I believe in establishing open and honest communication from the start; building a firm foundation of trust where effective healing can start and continue to take place. This journey is different for everyone and initially it is taken together. When it begins to conclude, my goal is for everyone to feel empowered enough to continue their own recovery with confidence and self-governance. Being in charge of their own health and well-being is a powerful tool.

I offer a blend of therapies, tailored to each individual. I use osteopathy, trigger point therapy and dry needling (Western acupuncture) techniques. Remedial exercises are added incrementally, both to facilitate recovery and to get them involved in the repair process – typically, but not solely, I use these techniques with musculoskeletal issues.

For those who manifest with ‘system wide’ conditions, e.g. of a digestive, skin or nervous nature, a combination of naturopathic/nutritional and Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture approaches is employed. In this context, I may discuss potential environmental, emotional and food choice obstacles to wellness, should the need arise. If relevant, stress management is also offered.

I am now seeing a significant, positive shift in the mindset of people regarding their health and choices of healing – both in and out of my clinic. My clientele used to be mainly made up of those who came to me as a last resort, after initially taking the more mainstream medical route with little or no success. I am now seeing more and more people who have bypassed the conventional route and seeing me as their first choice.
